The Mahindra Thar EV prices are expected to range between Rs. 20.00 Lakh - Rs. 25.00 Lakh, depending on the variant selected.

The electric Thar could be offered in two variants called AX and LX.

Features.

On the design front, the Thar electric gets a new grille with the Thar.e badging and three vertically stacked LEDs on either side, dual- tone alloy wheels,rounded square LED headlights, chunky squared wheel cladding, rear door handles on the C-pillar, a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, square LED taillights, and grey front and rear skid plates.

Inside, the new electric SUV will get a fully digital instrument console, a new multifunction steering wheel with the Thar.e logo at the centre, grab rails on either side of the new dashboard, a new centre console dominated by a large touchscreen infotainment system, and more.

Engine, performance, and specification of the Mahindra Thar Ev concept.

The company has not revealed the exact specifications, although a common battery and powertrain across its EVs are confirmed. This means that the electric Thar could source power from a 60kWh battery pack paired with electric motors, one on each axle, thus enabling a 4WD capability as well.

Underpinned by a modified version of the INGLO P1 platform, the Thar.e concept will get revised dimensions. The model will have a larger wheelbase and shorter overhangs compared to the ICE version.
