Volvo C40 Recharge prices in India start at Rs. 61.25 lakh. (Introductory ex-showroom) for the first 500 buyers. Bookings have opened from today (5 September) and we expect deliveries from later this year.
Varients.
The electric version of the C40 with a coupe design is available in a single, fully loaded variant.
Features.
Exterior, the C40 Recharge include Thor's Hammer-shaped LED DRLs, LED headlamps, vertically stacked LED taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, sloping roofline, and a boot-mounted spoiler.
Inside, the model gets features in the form of a fully digital instrument cluster, fixed panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leather-free interior, and an electrically height-adjustable driver seat.
Specification.
the latest Volvo is a 78kWh battery pack paired with two electric motors. The combined output is rated at 405bhp and 660Nm of torque, with a WLTP-certified range of 530km on a single full charge. A 150kW charger enables the battery to be juiced up from 10 to 80 per cent in 27 minutes.
NCAP Rating.
The Volvo C40 Recharge scored a five-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash test.
Rivals.
The C40 Recharge will compete against the Kia EV6 and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
